Co-Founder and Director at GroudTouch
Like many students, Zac grew up with a clear idea of what he thought the ‘right’ thing to do with his career was. He intended to graduate from the University of Durham and go on to work for a large consultancy company on their graduate scheme. But when he missed out on the 2:1 grade he needed to fulfil his job offer, he was forced to rethink his plans. Fast forward a year later, and Zac had started his entrepreneurial journey.
GradTouch, a technology platform that helps businesses communicate their employer brand to students and graduates, was founded in 2011. As Director, Zac has seen the company through several funding rounds – most recently securing a total £1M investment in early 2018. The company reached 5.5M 18-24 year olds across their social media channels last year, and have worked with clients from start-ups, through to organisations including Aldi, Next, McDonald’s, Dyson and Pernod Ricard.
As a public speaker, Zac covers entrepreneurship, business strategy, company culture, and employer branding. He is a firm believer in creating your own opportunities and forging your own path, dedicating time to speak to others who are early on in their founder journey to help them do the same.
